EMEP Users

The users of the Unified EMEP mode code are recommended to follow the instructions given through the Documentation on these EMEP open source webpages. Users are also recommended to register in the EMEP Forum to have access to further communication with the developing team and to the section on Questions and Answers. 2008-02-07 Unified EMEP model code version rv3 download
This is the first release of the Unified EMEP model as an open source code with input data for 2005.




Training Courses

The Air Pollution Section of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (met.no) offers yearly training courses for new users to get used to the Unified EMEP modelling system. The course content would be the following:

The Unified model runs only on UNIX based platforms and hence the training will be based on UNIX scripts. Therefore, at least a basic knowledge in UNIX is required in order to get along with this training lessons. There will be both classroom sessions as well as practical sessions in the training course.

Training location will be at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (met.no), Oslo, Norway. Each training course will have a restricted number of students and hence an early registration is recommended.
