EMEP Assessment Report

The purpose of this WEB page is to create a tool, which should help and accelerate the work on the preparation of the EMEP assessment report. The report is intended to provide a basis for the next round of negotiations and serve national needs. The national experts associated with the work of EMEP and EMEP centres will jointly prepare it.

In particular the WEB pages should:

Give the information about objectives, organization, people involved, outline, calendar of events and progress of work,
Provide a tool for an easy sending of national and regional contributions to the report via net,
Give an updated information about the progress and status of work,
Give a forum for comments and discussion,
Present the draft of report (when ready) for discussion among authors.

The WEB page will be modified according to the needs of people involved in the work on report. Jerzy Bartnicki jerzy.bartnicki@met.no is the contact person responsible for the WEB page.

Please, prepare your posters for the TFMM meeting in Valencia, Spain, 9-11 April 2003 (see also Meetings & Workshops page). Every Party is encouraged to present a poster (size: 80cm-H x 150cm-W), however, we would like to know how many Parties will actually present a poster. Those, who will do it, please, send us a confirmation. Thank you in advance!
Lithuania has submitted an elaborated draft of its national assessment, which will be presented in Valencia. Thank you!
Latvia has submitted an elaborated draft of its national assessment, which will be presented in Valencia. In addition, Latvia gave us a link to its Extended National Report (60 pages). Thank you!
Finland has submitted an elaborated draft of its national assessment, which will be presented in Valencia. Thank you!
Spain has submitted the first draft of its national assessment, which will be presented in Valencia. Thank you!
Germany and the Netherlands have completed measurement data checking process. Thank you!
A new page "Draft of Report " has been established to include the latest version of the EMEP Assessment Report and all related information. Elaborated outline of the EMEP Assessment Report is now available on the web. Please, read this outline and send us all your comments. Please, use the Comments & Discussion page us much as possible.

IMPORTANT!

New version of the tool for calculating trends in trajectory sectors (TRASEC2000) replaced, on 14th March 2003, the old version in the Data & Tools page! The old version treated the missing values inadequately. Please, use a new version! The new version (TRASEC2000) is also expanded in time to cover all the years up to 2000.
