The purpose of this WEB page is to create a tool, which should help and accelerate the work on the preparation of the EMEP assessment report. The report is intended to provide a basis for the next round of negotiations and serve national needs. The national experts associated with the work of EMEP and EMEP centres will jointly prepare it.
In particular the WEB pages should:
Give the information about objectives, organization, people involved, outline, calendar of events and progress of work,
Provide a tool for an easy sending of national and regional contributions to the report via net,
Give an updated information about the progress and status of work,
Give a forum for comments and discussion,
Present the draft of report for discussion among authors.
The WEB page will be modified according to the needs of people involved in the work on report. Jerzy Bartnicki jerzy.bartnicki@met.no is the contact person responsible for the WEB page.
